What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The 90th Academy Awards (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)

All of the highlights from last night’s award show, presented by comedian Jimmy Kimmel. If you want to spoil it on yourself, you can have a look at all of the night’s winners right here.

Girl Most Likely (TG4, 9.30pm)

Kristen Wiig stars in this 2012 comedy about a failed playwright who has just lost her job and broken up with her boyfriend and finds herself moving in with her estranged mother to survive. Sounds a lot like Bridesmaids, doesn’t it?

When Wiig’s character moves home, she finds that her eccentric mother, who is addicted to gambling, has been living with some very strange characters.

Electric Dreams: Autofac (Channel 4, 10pm)

Sci-fi thriller starring Juno Temple and Janelle Monae. From Amazon’s TV series ‘Electric Dreams’, this episode is basically about how to destroy Amazon. The show is set in a post-apocalyptic future, where society has collapsed and an automatic product-manufacturing factory continues to operate. A group of rebels attempt to shut down the factory and make a strange discovery.
